Summary: Great stools Comment: We ordered these stools and did not know what we were getting for such a low price but we were surprised that they are such great stools. These are as good as any stools in the stores.Very well made and our 4 year old loves to sit on them while he eats at our pass through. I would buy these again.

Summary: Great stools! Comment: These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room and we were constantly shifting them to get by. (They were also too short for our bar-height counter, but that is another story...)
As one reviewer previously mentioned, when you are unpacking the contents of the box, be sure to look for the red dots on the legs. The legs of the stool are packaged two together - both legs with red dots are in the same bag. The red dots ensure that the holes for the cross bars are facing the right way. I was surprised at how small the box was. It comes with an allen wrench and a total of 12 screws. I think it took about 10-15 minutes to read the directions and put the first one together.
One thing I wish I had thought about was the "feet". We have dark wood floors which show every little scratch, and I should have bought some felt pads for these at the same time. For now, I taped some of the the soft packing material under the bottom of the legs :)

Summary: Nice Comment: Like others, I had trouble locating the "dots" to distinguish which leg goes where, I ended up guessing... WRONG. The stool still assembled incorrectly, but there were tiny gaps where the legs attached under the seat. (I'm sure some people have assembles them wrong and not even noticed.) So, I unscrewed the whole thing and started again. Now it's perfect. I ordered a second stool, and it was missing all hardware (however, this stool DID have the "dots"- red stickers- identifying the pieces). I have contacted the company, and Amazon, and expect the problem to be remedied. I'm sure I'll be ordering a few more.
*HINT- If your stools are missing the red dots, just use the pic as a guide. The LONG cross bar goes in the top holes, the SHORT bar goes in the lower holes...

Summary: Sturdy Stool Comment: The stool is easy to assemble, and is quite sturdy. I use it in my shop, and tend to put my feet on one of the longer crossbars. The finish is wearing off there. A plastic cover for at least one of those crossbars would be a good idea.
